I did not plan to become a dog trainer. I only wanted to enjoy life with my dog.
When I adopted my Aussie mix, Skye, I did what most owners do. I read blogs, watched videos and tried every positive method I could find. Yet nothing worked. She pulled on the leash, barked repeatedly and would not come when called. I felt overwhelmed and out of options.
That search led me to balanced training. I began using a more complete system that focused on structure, communication and trust. Skye improved and I changed as well. People started asking for help with their own dogs. One session led to many. I soon realized that I could make a real difference not only for the dogs but also for the people who love them.
That is how Blue Skye K9 was born.
